Cocagne, NB – Arthur Després, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Monday, May 20, 2019.

Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and the late Léa Després (born Richard).

Arthur will be sadly missed by his wife, Claudette Després of Cocagne; his son, Gilles Després of Cocagne; his two daughters, Gisèle Desroches (Ronald) of Cocagne and Yvette Melanson (Raymond) of Moncton; his two brothers, Lucien Després (late Marie) of Cocagne and Paul-Émile Després (Roberta) of Shediac Bridge; his five sisters, Pauline Grendell (Winston) Mass, Eva Connolly (Don) of Moncton, Murielle Leménager (Bernard) of Shediac Bridge, Thérèse Babineau (late Gilles) of Cocagne and Linda Richard (Paul) of Cocagne; his six grandchildren, Nikolas, Jessica, Rémi, Martine, Isabelle and Danika; his two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Dayton; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Gérard; one sister, Bernice and by one adopted brother, Aldei.

Visitation will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church Slumber room on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 9am until time of Funeral Service at 11am.
