Arthur LeBlanc, 82, of Lakeburn, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008, after a short illness, surrounded by his family.
Born in Ste.-Anne-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Albert and the late Alice (née: Caissie) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc was a retired carpenter and a longtime fan of the Montreal Canadiens. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and was loved by all who knew him.
A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Flora (née: Maillet); three daughters: Ginette (late Yvon) LeBlanc of Lakeburn, Louise (late Yvon) Richard of St. Anselme and Claudette (Jean) Richard of Lakeburn; four sons: Laurie and Paul, both of Lakeburn, Roger (Laudia) of St. Anselme and André (Fernande) of Memramcook; 10 grandchildren: Nadine, Bertin, Réjean, Denis, Luc, Marie-Anne, Mélanie, Christian, Gabrielle and Jasmine; four great grandchildren: Pierre, Catherine, Nicolas and Rémi, several nieces and nephews and also by his beloved dog, Teddy.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by one son, baby Laurie and also by two brothers: Gérard and Ovila.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Thursday, March 27th, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn), on Friday, March 28th 2008, at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
