Aurelda Bourque, 81, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Notre-Dame, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence on Monday April 13, 2015. She was married to the late Joseph «Jos» Bourque (2008). Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and the late Clara (Saulnier) Pellerin.
She will be sadly missed by her four children; Anne Bourque of Moncton, Lucille Rettie (William) of Bracebridge, ON, Roger (Diane) and Gerard (Gisèle) of Notre-Dame, four grandchildren; Jacques, Daniel, Stephen and Ryan and one great grandson Camden. She also leaves five sisters; Violette Cormier (Emery) of Bouctouche, Yolande Léger (Paul), Jeannette LeBlanc (Alcide) of Moncton, Alcida Cormier (Clarence)of Saint-Antoine, Denise Saulnier (Roméo) of McDougall, two brothers; Edouard (Gisèle) of Saint-Antoine and Valmond (Simonne) of Notre-Dame as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister Jeannita and one brother Jean-Paul.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame on Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame Church on Thursday April 16, 2015 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Aurelda’s memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
