Aurele Landry, 77, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, March 14th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Pokemouche, NB, he was the son of the late Fabien and the late Elizabeth (née: Duguay) Landry.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Landry was the owner/operator of O’Brien and Landry Plumbing and Heating.
He is survived by his wife, Alida (née: Leger); one daughter, Monique (Ricky) Bastarache of Dieppe; two sons: Gilles (Jeannette) of Coles Island and Donald of Dieppe; one sister, Aurore Landry of Dieppe; two brothers: Augustin “Ti-Gus” (Arlene) of Oromocto and Arthur (Lorraine) of Sudbury, ON; four grandchildren: Christine (Guillaume), Jeremy (Tasha), Jennifer (Paul) and Josée (Troy); four great grandchildren: Samantha, Alex, Benoit and Kiera, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Anne-Marie and Delisca, as well as two brothers: Eudore and Lionel.
No visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Friday, March 18th, 2016 at 4 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation “Oncology” would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Pokemouche, N.-B., il était fils de feu Fabien et de feu Elizabeth (née Duguay) Landry.
Avant sa retraite, M. Landry était propriétaire d’O’Brien and Landry Plumbing and Heating.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Alida (née Leger); une fille, Monique (Ricky) Bastarache de Dieppe; deux fils: Gilles (Jeannette) de Coles Island et Donald de Dieppe; une soeur, Aurore Landry de Dieppe; deux frères: Augustin “Ti-Gus” (Arlene) de Oromocto et Arthur (Lorraine) de Sudbury, ON; quatres petits-enfants: Christine (Guillaume), Jeremy (Tasha), Jennifer (Paul) et Josée (Troy); quatres arrière petits-enfants: Samantha, Alex, Benoit et Kiera, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Deux sœurs: Anne-Marie et Delisca ainsi que deux frères: Eudore et Lionel l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Aucune visite.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Ste. Thérèse, Dieppe, le vendredi 18 mars, 2016, à 16h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe.
Un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont « Oncologie » serait apprécié par la famille.
Arrangements ont été confiés aux soins professionnels de la maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901).
