Aurélie Cormier, 94 of Saint-Antoine passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont UHC, Moncton on Sunday October 4, 2015. She was married to the late Alexandre (Alex) Cormier. Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Paul and the late Elizabeth (Jaillet) Geneau.
Aurélie was the sacristan for the Sainte-Anne de Kent RC Church for numerous years.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter; Alcida LeBlanc (Robert) of Notre-Dame, her ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Adéline Nowlan of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sons; Gerald and Noel, two sisters; Hélène and Béatrice and five brothers; Irènée, Charles, Henry, Aldéric and Archie.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Tuesday October 6, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church at 7:00 pm with interment in the Saint-Paul Parish cemetery.
In memory of Aurélie donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
