It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Dupuis, 85, on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, at the Maison Providence in Shediac.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Roy and the late Rita Dawson (Gallant).
Barbara will be sadly missed by her two sons: Marcel Dawson (Debbie) of Gatineau, QC, and Gary Dupuis (Lisa LeBlanc) of Grande-Digue; her grandchildren: Corey (Mindy) and Ryan; as well as her great grandchildren: Ayden, Kameron, Rosalie and Joannie.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roger Dupuis; her daughter, Maureen Dupuis; as well as her two sisters: Rita Arccie and Carol Stewart.
Barbara worked at Canada Post for 27 years. She had a passion for shopping and found great joy in helping those around her. She was a dedicated and hardworking person who always gave her best effort. She also loved spending time in Florida, where she enjoyed relaxing and creating lasting memories.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Maison Providence for the great care they provided over the years.
Visitations will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, from 5:00pm until 6:45pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 7:00pm.
