Notre-Dame-de-Kent – Bella LeBlanc, 67, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton on May 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and Évangeline Landry.
Bella will sadly be missed by her five daughters, Cécilia (Joseph) of Notre-Dame, Évangeline (Émile) of Irishtown, Bernadette of St-Louis-de-Kent, Thérèse of Moncton, Fernande (Rob) of Ontario; her four sons, Marcel (Colleen) of Notre-Dame; Gérard Junior (Thelma) of Cocagne, Yvon of Aldouane, Émile (Carol) of Ontario; three sisters, Stella and Lorraine, both of Moncton, Cécile (Gilles) of Ontario; four brothers, Emery (Rita) of St-Antoine, Léo of Ste-Anne, Raymond of Moncton, Bernie (Bernadine) of Fredericton; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; her very close friend, Claudette Dupuis; also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gérard (Feb. 2011); one infant son, Émilien, one great grandson, Cory (2006); one sister, Lina, two brothers, Robert and Alyre.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church slumber room in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Thursday, August 4, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and on Friday, August 5, from 1 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church on Friday, August 5, at 2 pm.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Oncology Dept. or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
