Grande-Digue, NB – Bernadette Bourque, 74, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, June 3rd, 2016, after a brief illness.
Born in Grande-Digue , NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Régina (Goguen) Bourque.
Bernadette will be sadly missed by her two brothers, Réginald (Rita) and Henri (Yvette) both of Grande-Digue; her four sisters, Rita Bourque (late Désiré) of Grande-Digue, Sylvia Doiron (Late Napoléon) of Acadieville, Florence Bourque (Néri) and Yolande Richard (Léo) both of Grande-Digue; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Willie; one sister, Georgina and an infant sister, Sylvia.
In respect to Bernadette’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral mass will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11 am. Reception will follow at Notre-Centre in Grande-Digue.
Donations to the “Centre d’Habilités du Sud-Est” in Cap-Pelé, Chu Dumont Foundation or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
