Moncton, NB – Bernard Surette, 67, passed away suddenly at Villa du Repos in Moncton, on Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

Bernard loved fishing, watching TV, socialize, and volunteered at Lyle’s Garage on Weldon Street and St-George Street.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Yrois and Lina Surette (nee Saulnier).

Bernard will be sadly missed by his wife, Marjorie Surette (nee Hogan); his step daughter, Alma Mitchell (Larry) of Moncton; his three stepsons, Kevin Vaughan of Alberta, Steven Vaughan (Debbie), Rodney Vaughan (Pam) both of Moncton; 5 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren; he is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law that loved him dearly; also by several brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 1 pm at Passage Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation and Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology) or to a charity of your choice.
