Bernice Allain, 75, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Cocagne, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Villa Providence on Saturday March 5, 2022. She was married to the late Gerald Allain (2011). Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Léonard «Ti-Léo» and Late Yvonne (Despres) LeBlanc.
Bernice will be sadly missed by her two children; Lisa Melanson (Jason) de Dieppe, Luc (Carol) of Cocagne, her six grandchildren; Rémi, Joël, Véronique, Janie, Samuel and Dominick. She also leaves to mourn her two sisters; Stella Ouellette (Norman) of Cocagne, Claudine Sullivan (Jim) of Dieppe and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one brother Camille (1971).
A private visitation and a private funeral service were held at Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche on Thursday March 10, 2022. Interment will be in the Cocagne parish cemetery in the spring.
In Bernice’s memory, donations may be made to the Villa Providence Inc., Shediac.
