Moncton – It is with great sadness but wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Bernice Breau (née Gallant), 76, of Moncton and formerly from Grande-Digue on October 14, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC with family by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Edelor and the late Corinne (LeBlanc) Gallant.

Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert; two children: Lorraine (Brent) and Natalie (Daniel); three grandchildren: Emma, April and Chloé; five siblings: Jeanne-Mance Babineau (Paul), Sylvio Gallant (Suzanne), Maurice Gallant (Denise), Edna O’Brien (Paul) and Denis Gallant (Claudette), as well as several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her many friends and extended family.

Bernice was known as a very kind, generous and loving person to everyone she encountered. She shared a passion for camping, travelling abroad, simple day trips and picnics with her husband. She also enjoyed exercise classes, gardening, hosting friends and family and took great pride in her grandchildren.

Her family is grateful for the compassionate and skilled care from the hospital nurses and physicians in her final days.

Visitation will be held on October 23rd from 9 to 11 a.m. with the funeral starting at 11 am at the Passage in Shediac Bridge.
In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, masks are required to be worn and proof of double vaccinations along with identification are mandatory for attendance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pépére Boîte à Lunch or to the G-L Dumont Hospital (Palliative Care).
