Bernice Caissie
1940 ~ 2023

Moncton, NB – Bernice Caissie, 83, passed away peacefully on the night of Monday, December 4, 2023 at Moncton Hospice (Albert House).

Born in Shediac, NB, she was the daughter of the late Théodore and the late Georgina Caissie (Bourque).

Bernice will be greatly missed by her brother: Léo Paul (late Louiselle) of Dieppe; her nephew and his wife whom she lived with and loved very much: Rolland Caissie (Sylvie) of Moncton; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Yvon, Aurélien, Albert, Roméo, Camille and Guillaume; his sisters: Georgina, Doris, Sarah and Antoinette.

According to Bernice’s wishes, there will be no visits.

The funeral will take place at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church in Moncton, on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2 pm.

Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery where she will rest in peace with her parents.

In Bernice’s memory, donations can be made to the Moncton Hospice (Albert House).

A special thank you to the staff of the Extra-Mural program (Driscoll) and the Moncton Hospice (Maison Albert) for the excellent care given to Bernice during her illness.
