Cocagne, NB – Bernice Dutcher, 66, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, April 29, 2013, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Cocagne, NB on March 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Léa (Richard) Després.

Bernice will be sadly missed by her husband, Donald J. Dutcher; her son, Donny (Lyn Lyn) of Grande-Digue; her two daughters, Darlene Sanipass of Calgary and Debbie Pellerin (Michel) of Cocagne; her three brothers, Arthur Després (Claudette), Lucien Després (Marie) both of Cocagne and Paul-Emile (Roberta) of Grande-Digue; her five sisters, Pauline Grendell (Winston) of Worcester, Mass, Eva Connelly (Donald) of Moncton, Murielle Lemenager (Bernard) of Shediac-Bridge, Thérèse Babineau (late Gilles) and Linda Richard (Paul) both of Cocagne; her two grandchildren, Ashley and Emily; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gérard.

In respect to Bernice’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service for family and friends will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
