It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Bertha Alice Cadarette on July 22, 2026, at the age of 95.
Born on November 18, 1930, Bertha was the beloved daughter of the late Vital and Yvonne (Cormier). Throughout her long and meaningful life, she was known for her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and the deep love she shared with her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Bertha will be deeply missed by her loving children, Daniel Cadarette of Dudley, Massachusetts, Peter Cadarette of Worcester, Massachusetts, and Diane Gerber of Spencer, Massachusetts. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Jeanette Myers (Vincent Doucet), her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Bertha was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis Cadarette; her dear son, Michael Cadarette; and her brother, Paul Cormier.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Passage Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, New Brunswick. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. A reception will take place immediately following the service.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Mariette LeBlanc for her unwavering friendship, kindness, and compassionate support throughout Bertha’s journey. Her care and devotion brought great comfort and will always be remembered with heartfelt appreciation.

So sorry for your loss, I rented an apartment in their house on Acadia Ave in the eighties. I loved Bertha, she was very good to me. 🙏
