Bertin Després
1937 - 2022

Shediac – Bertin Després, 85, of Shediac and formerly of Cocagne, passed away, on Monday, May 16^th, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.

Born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, he is the son of the late Philias and the late Aurore (Perry) Després.

He was the owner of Bert’s Auto Body, B&D Trucking and a Body Shop in the early 60’s in Waltham, Mass.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alfreda Després (Dionne); his daughter, Diane McGraw (Bruno) of Tracadie; his sons: Vincent Després (Monique) of Bouctouche, Richard Després (Monique) of Leominster, Mass and Jean-Marc Després (Sylvie) of Dieppe; his grandchildren: Marc-André, Sylvie, Maxime, Mylène and Martine; his sisters: Rose-Mai Cormier of Mass and Aldora Mitton (late Kenneth) of Moncton; his brother, Raoul (Antoinette) of Cocagne, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Aldéo.

Visitation will be held from Saint-Pierre RC Church funeral Salon, Cocagne, on Monday, May 23^rd, 2022, from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

Funeral mass will be held from Saint-Pierre RC Church, Cocagne, on Monday, May 23^rd, 2022, at 4 pm.
