Boyd Trueman Leslie, 73, of Crapaud PE and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE.
Born in Magdalen Islands, QC, he was the son of Benita (née: Buck) and the late Roland Leslie.
Mr. Leslie had retired from Air Canada and had a passion for harness racing.
Besides his mother, Benita of Moncton, he is survived by one daughter, Carol Ann (Barry) Richard of Fredericton; one son, Brent (Rita) of Dieppe; four sisters: Mona Leslie of Riverview, Marilyn (Albert) Bouffard of Memramcook, Sheila Leslie of Winslow, PE and Kathy (Billy) Hood of Milton, PE; three brothers: Bernie and Robert(Nancy), both of Toronto, ON and David (Donna) of Stratford, PE; one granddaughter, Rebecca; a special friend, Patsy Brine; his former wife, Christine Neeld; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his first wife, Arlene in 1998; one granddaughter, Melissa; one sister, Mary as well as one brother, Peter.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be celebrated from St. George’s Anglican Church, Moncton, NB, with Father Chris VanBuskirk officiating, on Monday, October 14th, 2013 at 10 am.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac, NB.
Donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, Charlottetown or the Children Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Né aux Iles-de-la-Madeleine, QC, il était fils de Benita (née: Buck) et de feu Roland Leslie.
M. Leslie était employé par Air Canada. Il avait une passion pour les courses de chevaux.
Outre sa mère, Benita de Moncton, il laisse dans le deuil une fille, Carol Ann (Barry) Richard de Fredericton; un fils, Brent (Rita) de Dieppe; quatre soeurs: Mona Leslie de Riverview, Marilyn (Albert) Bouffard de Memramcook, Sheila Leslie de Winslow, I.-P.-E. et Kathy (Billy) Hood de Milton, I.-P.-E. ; trois frères: Bernie et Robert(Nancy), tous deux de Toronto, ON et David (Donna) de Stratford, I.-P.-E.; une petite-fille, Rebecca; une amie, Patsy Brine; son ex-épouse, Christine Neeld, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre son père, son épouse, Arlene en 1998; une petite-fille, Melissa; une soeur, Mary, ainsi qu’un frère, Peter l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901) le dimanche de 14 à 16h et de 19 à 21h.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’Église anglicane St George’s à Moncton, N.-B., le lundi 14 octobre, 2013, à 10h, Father Chris VanBuskirk, célébrant.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Greenwood, Shediac, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Hôpital Queen Elizabeth de Charlottetown ou la fondation Rêves d’enfants serait apprécié par la famille.
