Shediac Bridge, NB – Brian Patrick Lutes, 62, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, after a brief illness.
Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late David Henry and Elmire (Belliveau) Lutes.
He was an employee at Canada Post until his retirement.
Brian will be sadly missed by his common-law spouse of twenty-four years, Linda Arsenault; his son, David Lutes of Halifax, NS; the mother of his son, Dorine of St-Anselme; his four sisters, Marie Lutes of Dieppe, Irene Matchim (late Clyde), Doreen Battis (Harold), Donna Stiles (Brian) all of Moncton; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Brian and Linda enjoyed travelling and had many fun times together. He loved music and was affiliated with the musical group, the Mustangs. He enjoyed playing pool with his buddies, summers at the cottage and camping with family and friends. Above all Brian will be remembered for his welcoming heart and his love of life. He will be greatly missed by many, including his lifelong
friends Lucas and Roger.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 10 am until time of Memorial Service at Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 11 am. Reception will follow.
Donations to the Greater Moncton SPCA or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
