It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, friend Bruce Cormie.
Who left us on June 4th, 2025. He was a man at immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
Bruce was the son of the late Russell Cormie and the late Helen (Sealy) Cormie.
He is survived by his wife Carol (Leger) Cormie and his 4 sons: Ryan Cormie, Travor Cooper (Tanya), Derek Cooper (Becky) “Joy” and Ryan Cooper (Lore), his two brothers: Jamie (Cheryl), Brian, also his grandchildren: Tyler, Haley, Owen, Cris, Danna, Samantha, Elisa and his “bonus” grandchildren: Bailey, Morgan, Shelby, Jayla, Jorden and Aiden.
Bruce worked for 35 years in the electrical supply business. He could be counted on to always make his customers happy by either his efficiency or sense of humor.
He loved being at the cottage in Cocagne and spending time with his wife, friends and quite often grandchildren. He loved his wife more than words can describe and as she loved him.
We can take comfort in knowing, Bruce is at peace and no longer suffering in his kidney battle. We cherish all of our memories, and he will be forever in our hearts.
Until we meet again, hopefully “It’s a sunny day in Parrsboro” dillhole.
Visitation and a celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB E4R 1T3 (506) 532-1050, on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, from 2pm to 4pm only.

Carol, so sad to hear about Bruce. Only met him a couple of times, but the two of you were meant to be together. Remember the great times, cherish the moments you had.

So sad to hear. I taught Bruce at King George school in grade 8, my first year of teaching.He and James were always eager to help in any way. Have fond memories of him and Brian.

So sorry to hear about Bruce’s passing. I worked with Bruce for 10 years at Westburne, great guy, hard worker, very knowledgeable in the Electrical industry, and always provided No. #1 service to his loyal customers. Bruce also helped train many of todays industry people over his successful career. He will be sadly missed.
