Dixon Point, NB- It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Camille Cormier, 81, that occurred on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, at his residence.
Born in Falmond, QC, he was the son of the late Yvon Cormier and the late Lina (Boucher) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Stella Cormier; his daughters: Joanne Babineau (Rhéal) of Shediac River, Denise Cormier (Mario) of Saint-Grégoire and Rachelle Légère (Marc) of Dixon Point; his sisters: Sylvia LeBlanc (late Ronald) and Thérèse Cormier both of Moncton; his grandchildren: Melissa Babineau (Tristin), James Babineau, Daniel LeBlanc (Annie), Christine Hicks (Matt) and Luc LeBlanc (Monica); his great grandchildren: Zalek Hébert, Heidi LeBlanc, Sophie LeBlanc, Mickael Hébert, Kensley LeBlanc, Zachary LeBlanc, Brooklyn Hicks, Kaleb Hicks and Mia Babineau; his nieces: Bernice LeBlanc, Dorice LeBlanc and Christine Despres; as well as his nephew, Christopher Woodsman.
Camille was predeceased by his sister, Diane Woodman; his Grandson, Baby Nicola; his nephew, Camille LeBlanc and niece, Lisa Woodman.
Visitation will take place at Passage- Maillet (29 rue de l’Église St, Bouctouche, NB) on Friday, August 14th from 1pm to 3pm only, followed by the funeral service at Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche, NB at 3pm.
In Camille’s memory, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Saint-Jean Baptisme Church.
