In Loving Memory Of
Carl Scott Sellick
1960 ~ 2023

Notre-Dame, NB. – Surrounded and comforted by the love of his wife and children, Carl Scott Sellick passed away Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at home.

Born on January 18th, 1960, in Stanley, NB, to his parents, the late Marven and Lois Sellick. He has two brothers, Hugh Sellick of Jemseg, and John Sellick (Leonora) of Burtts Corner.

Carl loved his family fiercely; his wife and children being his primary focus in life. He was very strong, and hard working, always a good provider.

He was a cement finisher from his early 20’s, then tile setter by trade, eventually working for himself under his own company name “Three C’s Tile and Cement”.

Aside from hard work, he was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed the woods, nature, and hunting. Moose hunting being his favorite event of the year. He was lucky to have shot his last moose, just two years ago. He had a talent for calling in the moose and was a very good shooter. He was a member of the Buckskinners Muzzle Loaders.

Carl is known for his love of vehicles, especially antique muscle cars and trucks. He has owned many in the past, always having a project or two on the go. Enjoyed going to the car shows, talking to other enthusiasts about their cars. He never met a stranger. Talked to everyone.

Survived by his loving wife of almost 34 years, Shelley (Merrill); two sons: Clay Sellick (Patrice) of Saint-Antoine, Colt Sellick (Michaela) of Notre-Dame; one daughter, Bailey Walsh (Conner) of Riverview; two grandsons: Dean and Reid Walsh; many nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles. Also, his three pets, Ruby, Kate, and Cola.

Funeral service will be held from Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Thursday, August 10th at 3 pm.
