Catherine «Kate» Allain, 97 of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Saint-Edouard de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Villa du Repos on Friday March 7th, 2014. She was married to the late Michel Allain (1985). Born in Miscouche, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Abdon and the late Madeleine (Maddix) Gaudet.
She will be sadly missed by her eight children; Rita Cormier (Louis) of Acadieville, Paul (Andréa), Omer, Rhéal (Lisa) all of Waltham, René (Lorraine) of Saint-Edouard de Kent, Ron of Toronto, Jean (Serge) and Normand all of Montreal, her fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister Eva Paulin (Raoul) of Georgetown, ON and one brother René of Keswick, ON and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one daughter; Marie (2012), one sister, Éveline and five brothers; Ernest, Léo, Eddie, Cederic and Martin.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Tuesday March 11th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Tuesday March 11th, 2014 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Catherine’s memory donations may be made to the Villa du Repos Foundation.
