Catherine Francoise LeBlanc, 88, of Fox Creek, passed away on Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Memramcook Lake, she was the daughter of the late Severe and the late Lina (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
She was a devoted Catholic who loved and cherished her family. A retired seamstress and bookkeeper for her late husband’s business; in retirement she loved to bowl, play rummy with her grandchildren and had a caring spirit for the well being of her family. She will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
She is survived by two daughters: Patricia ” Patsy” LeBlanc of Moncton and Paulette (Mike) Landry of Dieppe; two sons: Robert (Geraldine) of Ford Mills and Terry (Rose) of Dieppe; four sisters: Edmée (late Léandre) Dupuis, Diana (late Georges) Levesque, Corinne (late Yvon) Dupuis and Ella (Ronald) LeBlanc ; one brother, Hervé (late Léona); one sister-in-law, Irene; 9 grandchildren; Terry (Nicole), Rolande (Denis) Annette, Lina ( Robert), Charles (Bev), Mathieu, Carole (Kevin), Marc and Christine; 7 great grandchildren: April, Abbey, Nathalie, Marco, Caroline, Stéphane, and Janik; one great great grandchild, Darren and also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Zephir in 1987; one son, Roger; two grandsons: Daniel and Michel and also by one brother, Gerald.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Friday, May 12th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday, May 13th, 2006 from 8:30 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, May 13th, 2006 at 9:30 am.
