Moncton, NB – On the day of her 94th birthday, Cécile Dupuis passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. Born in Cap-Lumiere on July 8th, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Maxime Richard and the late Rose Richard.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Norma Dubé of Fredericton; her son, Roger Dupuis (Claudette) of Saint-Antoine; her two grandchildren: Natasha and Samantha; her two step grandchildren: Gilles and Rachelle; her four step great grandchildren: Danie, Alek, Novalie, and Liam; her sister, Huberte Myers (late Len) of Moncton; her brother, Edouard Richard of Richibucto; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Normand (1995), her son, Claude (1987), her four sisters, Bernadette, Jeanne, Thérèse, and Corinne; as well as her two brothers, Paul and Vincent.
The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of the Manoir Notre-Dame for their loving care over the past seven and a half years. We also wish to recognize the excellent care received in the Palliative Care Unit in the last week of her life.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, 506-857-1901, on Friday, July 18th, from 2 to 4 pm only, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4 pm.
If desired, a donation can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Chère Norma et Roger, je vous offre toute ma tendresse et mon affection en ce départ de votre Mère, cet être qui vous a été si précieux à tout égard. Je porte un souvenir chaleureux et tendre de ma belle tante Cécile si généreuse et pleine de bonté en son âme. Elle est en paix j’en suis convaincue et aussi des plus heureuses de retrouver dans l’au delà les personnes qui lui sont si chères. Un énorme câlin et plus belles pensées vers vous. Comme j’aimerais être proche pour partager ces moments significatifs !

Norma, mes sincères condoléances pour le décès de ta mère. La perte d’une maman est difficile mais les souvenirs restent avec nous pour toujours. Qu’elle repose en paix et qu’elle veille sur toi et Roger et vos familles dans les moments difficiles. Bon courage 🙏
