Celestino Joseph Lono, 78, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Greenhill Drive, Moncton, passed away on Monday, June 20th, 2005 at his residence. Born in Montreal and a long time resident of St. John’s, NL, he was the son of the late Santo and the late Josephine (née: Lono) Lono
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Eileen (née: Mackett); one daughter, Robin (Kevin) MacDonald of Dieppe; one son, Andrew (Carolyn) of St John’s, NL; one sister, Violet Parker of Montreal; two brothers: Aldo (Rosette) and Armand (Lise), both of Montreal; 3 grandchildren: Beth, Catherine and Stefan as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lono was predeceased by two sisters: Linda and Carmen and also by three brothers: Fraser, Richard and Simon.
Visitation will be held at the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Friday, June 24th, 2005 from 1 to 3 pm .
Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday June 24th, 2005 at 3 pm.
