Born in McDougall Sett, NB, he was the son of the late Alex and Ethel Johnson (nee Fram).

Charles will be missed by his children, Ron (Marilyn) of McDougall Sett, Marilyn Budd (Doug) of London, ON, Karen Poirier (Remi) of McDougall Sett, Anne Fleury (Mike) of Grand Bay, Sharon Johnson (Terry) of Lutes Mountain and Wayne (Marianne) of McDougall Sett; his fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren; also survived by his siblings, Harold (Late Maya) of Wolfville, NS, Doris Hopper (Late Ralph) of Riverview and Verna Kennedy (John) of Vancouver, BC.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jean Johnson (Warren), he was her primary caregiver at home for many years during her long-term illness making her possible to remain in her own home; also predeceased by his son, Frazer.

As per Charles wishes, there will be no visitations. A memorial and graveside service will be held at a later date.

A donation can be made to the Scotch Settlement Cemetery.

We, the family would like to thank the staff of the Villa du Repos in Moncton and the palliative care at the Moncton Hospital for their special care.
