In Loving Memory Of
Clarence Bourque
1939 - 2022

Moncton – On Friday February 11th, after a long courageous battle with heart disease, passed away Clarence Jean Bourque, 82, loving husband of Pauline Bourque (born LeBlanc) for 56 years. Born in Notre-Dame, NB, he was the son of the late John and the late Généreuse (née Landry) Bourque.

Clarence will be sadly missed by his daughter, Linda Berthe (Michel) of Bouctouche; his two sons, Raymond Bourque (Darlene) of Moncton; and Conrad Bourque (Brigitte) of Balmoral; his brothers and sisters, Blair Bourque (late Angela) of Notre–Dame, Rosé Melanson (Normand) of Ayer, Mass., Jeannine Léger (Alias) of Trois–Ruisseaux, Rose–Marie Robichaud (Léo) of Cocagne, Cécilia Bourque (late Donald) of Richibucto-Village and Rhéal Goguen (late Joanne) of Notre–Dame; his four grandchildren, Arielle, Colin, Janie and Magalie; and his great grandson Mathis; also by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters Claudette, Yvette, Linda and Marie, and also his brothers Romiald, Roger, Gérard, Normand, Clifford and Régis.

Clarence was a founding member, former president and long-time volunteer of the Club Athletic of Notre-Dame (Centre Communautaire de Notre-Dame). He was also a member of Notre-Dame

Knights of Columbus – conseil # 9545. He was very dedicated to his community and contributed to several charities and fundraising events. Before retirement in 1992, he worked at CFB Moncton – Supply Depot No 5.

Due to Covid-19 regulations, proof of vaccination, government ID and mask will be required.

Visitations will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge (506-532-1050), on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 from 7pm to 9pm.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, 3863 Route 115, Notre–Dame, on Monday, February 21st, 2022, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Diabetes Association or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
