In Loving Memory Of

Clarence Chiasson, 77, of Greater Lakeburn, NB, passed away on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011, at home.

Born in St-Isidore, NB, he was the son of the late Jeremie and the late Ernestine (née: Losier) Chiasson.

He was a retired member of Local 73 Boilermakers. Mr. Chiasson loved life and his family, enjoyed playing the guitar and travelling in his motor home to many bluegrass festivals. He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and St-Anselme parish. 

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette (née: Losier); two daughters: Ginette Chiasson (Mike), Louise (Gerry) LeBlanc; three sons: Gilles (Margot), Raymond (Della) and René (Paulette) all of St-Anselme; two sisters: Elizabeth Haché of Massachusetts and Suzanne Morais of St-Isidore, NB; two brothers: Paul (Paula) of Florida and Yvon of Ste.-Rose, NB; three sisters-in-law: Geraldine, Irma and Argentine; nine grandchildren: Nicholas, Marc, Julie, Jeremie, Martin, Justin, Stephanie, Melanie and Ryan; one great granddaughter, Mikayla as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers: Edmond, Guy, Georges and Roger.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure. 

 Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, March 7th, 2011 at 11 am.

Interment in Saint-Anselme parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

    Donations to the Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Foundation "Cardiology Department" would be appreciated by the family.

À sa résidence, le jeudi, 3 mars, 2011 à l’âge de 77 ans, est décédé Clarence Chiasson, domicilié à Greater Lakeburn, N.-B.

 Né à St. Isidore, N.-B., il était fils de feu Jeremie et de feu Ernestine

 (née: Losier) Chiasson.

Retiré du locale 73 des Boilermakers, il aimait la vie et sa famille. Il était un passionné de la guitare et suivre des festival s bluegrass avec son véhicule motorisé. M. Chiasson était membre du Club d’Age d’Or et de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Jeannette (née: Losier); deux filles: Ginette Chiasson (Mike), Louise (Gerry) LeBlanc; trois fils: Gilles (Margot), Raymond (Della) et René (Paulette) tous de Saint-Anselme; deux soeurs: Elizabeth Haché de Massachusetts et Suzanne Morais de St-Isidore, N.-B.; deux frères: Paul (Paula) de Floride et Yvon de Ste.-Rose, N.-B.; trois belle-soeur: Geraldine, Irma et Argentine; neuf petits-enfants: Nicholas, Marc, Julie, Jeremie, Martin, Justin, Stephanie, Melanie et Ryan; une arrière petite-fille, Mikayla ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Outre ses parents, quatres frères: Edmond, Guy, Georges et Roger l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le dimanche de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h ainsi que lundi de 10h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B., le lundi 7 mars, 2011 à 11h.

L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissiale Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B.

Un don à la Fondation de l’hôpital Universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont “Département Cardio” serait apprécié par la famille.
