Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB– It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence Léger of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House at the age of 80.
Born in Saint-Antoine, NB, he was the son of the Zoel Léger and the late Eda (Arsenault) Léger.
Clarence enjoyed hunting, horse races and listening to country music.
He will be sadly missed by his loving common-law wife, Elyane Landry; one brother, Robert Léger; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alonzo Léger; and by his sister, Adrienne Lanteigne.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, E4R 1T3, 506-532-1050, on Wednesday, August 26th, from 2 to 4 pm only, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 4 pm.
Interment will be held at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Parish cemetery, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB.
If desired, a donation in memory of Clarence can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
