It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claude J. Williams, 55, on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.
Born in Saint-Philippe, he was the son of Elizabeth Williams-Leger (Maillet) (late Éloi) and the late Henri Williams.
Besides his mother, Claude is survived by his siblings: Diane Williams LeBlanc (Aurèle), Thérèse Williams (Mike), and Léandre Williams (Jennifer); his children: Ashley Smith-Williams and Jesse Smith-Williams; his granddaughter, Kaylee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father and stepfather, he was also predeceased by his brother, John Williams, and his sister, Alice Ibbitson.
Claude loved watching sports, especially cheering on his favorite teams, the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Blue Jays. A true music enthusiast, he adored playing the electric guitar and had a deep passion for heavy rock. His playlist was filled with legends like Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, and Pantera.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Marie-Claude of the Extra-Mural and the nurses of the Albert House Hospice for their outstanding care. As well as a special thank you to Mike for all the great adventures he brought Claude on, and they got to experience together.
In respect to Claude’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
