In Loving Memory Of
Claudette P. Tingley
December 30, 2015

Shediac River, NB – Claudette P. Tingley, 66, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, NB, on July 9, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Pierre (John) and Blanche (LeBlanc) Gallant.

Claudette and her family lived in Mississauga for 17 years where she worked as a waitress. They moved back home 25 years ago and she began working at Fisherman’s Paradise as a cook until the day the restaurant closed. Claudette made the best bread, tea biscuits and pies.

Claudette was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was always the strong one, even when she wasn’t feeling well, she always carried on. She always had strength to share with all of us. Family and togetherness is what mattered most to her.

In addition to her mother, Claudette will be sadly missed by her husband of 42 years, Harold (Buddy); her two sons, Daniel and Kevin (Holly) both of Shediac River; her two precious grandchildren, Michelle and Andrew; her siblings, Patsy Murphy (Mike) of Shediac, Jeannette Gallant, Léo Gallant, Louise Cormier, Gisèle Brun (Louis), Jean-Guy Gallant all of Moncton, Stella Gallant (Donny) of Summerside, P-E-I and Therese Gallant (Martin) of Moncton; her in-laws, Helen Hebert (Howard), Lola Bennett (John), Jimmy Tingley (Barb) all of Ontario, Linda LeBlanc (Paul-Alfred) of Dieppe, Ann Tingley of Shediac, Alfred Damen (Tiny) of Amsterdam, Stewart Scarling (Rose) of Richibucto; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her parents-in-law, Winston and Elizabeth Tingley; one brother-in-law, Winston (Tim) Tingley Jr.; one nephew, Jean-Louis Brun.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, January 4th, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitations on Tuesday morning.
