Moncton, NB – Claudia Boudreau, 83, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday August 3, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Egmont Bay, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and Marion (Richard) Gallant.
Claudia will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Leonard; her two daughters, Maria Boudreau (Hugh Scarth) of Rothesay and Nicole Williamson of Moncton; her three sons, Roland (Ruth Riddell) of Salt Spring, BC, Louis of Terence Bay, NS and Gilles (Laura Silver) of Moncton; her six sisters, Lorraine LeBlanc (late Euclide), Julia Gaudet (Clarence) both of Moncton, Lucia Tobin of Toronto, Annette Belliveau (Paul) of Moncton, Patsy Mifsud (Larry) of Toronto, Alice Campbell (late Paul) of Gardner, Mass; her four brothers, Frank (Jean) of Haute-Aboujagane, Robert (Marsha) of California, Albert of Moncton, John of Gardner, Mass; her eleven grandchildren, Ryan, Corey, Patrick, Nicholas Scott, Dominique and Sierra Boudreau, Phillip and Andrew Williamson, Etienne Boudreau, Sophia and Isabelle Boudreau; her three great grandchildren, Joni, Maggie and Emmett; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Edgar and Omer.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church in Moncton on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11 am. A reception will follow at the Club d’âge d’or.
