Cocagne, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claudia Gauvin, 73, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Foyer Saint-Antoine, NB.
Born in Moncton, she was the beloved wife of the late Ulysse Gauvin, and the daughter of the late Jean Saulnier and the late Élise (Hébert) Saulnier.
Claudia will be sadly missed by her loving son, Serge Gauvin (Nicole) of Cocagne; her sister, Rina Dupuis (late Léandre) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; her brothers, Louis Saulnier (Louise) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent and Jacques Saulnier (Francine) of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent; her sister-in-law, Simonne Saulnier (late Ola) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent; and her brother-in-law, Albert Goguen (late Irène) of Cocagne. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Danie and Lucas, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband Ulysse and her parents, Claudia was predeceased by her sister Irène, her brothers: Ola, and Clarence.
In accordance with Claudia’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
