It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claudine Savoie Desroches, 69, on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of Nélida Savoie (Cormier) and the late Gérard Savoie (Bastarache).

Claudine will be sadly missed by her mother, Nélida; her loving husband, Edgar; her children: Jérémie Desroches and his spouse, Gabrielle Viger, and Geneviève Desroches and her spouse, Tyler Bigney; her grandchildren: Benjamin and Simon; her grand dog, Mogli; her siblings: Rhéal Savoie (Murielle), Prémela Bastarache (Brian Hildred), Jean-Charles Savoie (Mona), Pauly Savoie (Ginette), Gilles Savoie (late Diane), and Marcel Savoie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Claudine was a dedicated grandmother to her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was a kind and generous person who always put others first. When she was not traveling the world, she loved gardening and cross-stitching at home.

Visitations will take place at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, from 7:00pm until 9:00pm and on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, from 9:00am until 10:45am. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am.

Donations in memory of Claudine can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for brain cancer.

J’ai connu Claudine à la polyvalente Clément-Cormier et par après j’ai fait affaires avec elle durant son emploi avec l’hôtel Beauséjour et puis avec Premiere Suites. Elle était toujours joviale et pleine d’énergie……..en plus d’avoir une très belle personnalité. Mes prières et mes pensées sont avec sa famille durant cette période très difficile!!!

  30. Claudine was a wonderful lady. I met Claudine when we first came to Moncton in 2016 and stayed at Assomption Suites for 4 months. I knew no one and had never been east of Ottawa before, and she welcomed me. So warm and friendly, we became friends and when we came back and moved here in 2017, I would visit her weekly when I was out on my bicycle. She was fun and honest and always spoke of her travels with Genevieve, and spoke lovingly of her boy Jeremy, and Edgar and her mum. She loved her family. A great soul. So sorry for your loss. Xxoo
