Dieppe, NB – Clorice Surette, 90, passed away at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Friday, January 6, 2017, after a brief illness.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late François and Georgina (Downing) Surette.
Clorice retired as a carpenter at the “Université de Moncton” and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Clorice will be sadly missed by his wife, Lorraine (Albert); his two children, Donald (Sylvia) of Lakeburn and Diane of Dieppe; his two grandchildren, Daniel (Jennica) and Susanne (Vinnie); his great granddaughter, Dannica; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his three sisters, Florence, Florida and Alice; his three brothers, Alcide, Léopold and Patrick; his baby brother, Armand.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 9:30 until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 11:30 am. Reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
