Moncton, NB – Dave Furlotte, 75, passed away on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Bishop’s Stortford, UK, he was the son of the late Nicholas Jarvis and the late Margaret Furlotte (nee Hill). A proud Irish-Canadian, Dave enjoyed entertaining, whether playing music, telling jokes or holding get-togethers for family and Friends. He was an animal lover, had a thirst for knowledge, was a voracious reader, loved crosswords and especially adored the time he spent with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his children, Sean of Frankfurt, Germany, Colleen of Riverview, Kelly of Halifax, NS and Brendan (Maryse) of Riverview, and his grandchildren, Laney and Byron. He is also survived by his siblings, Melvin, Wade "Frisky", Diane, and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Dave predeceased by his wife Linda Furlotte (nee Hachey) in 2017 and by his brother, Bobby.
As per Dave’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Friends may stop in at the Furlotte’s Residence, 50 Mansfield Street, Moncton on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
