Moncton, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Petitpas, 66, on August 2nd, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.

Born in Minto, he was the son of the late Norman Petitpas and the late Alice Petitpas (Gauvin).

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 42 years of marriage, Dianne Petitpas (Cormier); his son, Scott Petitpas (Morgan Brantnall) of Riverview; his siblings: Anne Petitpas-Arsenault of Moncton, Gerald Petitpas (Mary-Ellen) of Massachusetts, and Evelyn Petitpas of Bouctouche; his sister-in-law, Patricia Petitpas of Massachusetts; as well as several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Eddie Petitpas.

There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service that will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 506-857-1901, on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at 11 am.
