It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Délia Arsenault, 91, on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Richard Arsenault and the late Claudia Ouellette.
A graduate of the Registered Nursing Assistant program of the New Brunswick Technical School – Moncton (1971), she worked at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre until her retirement in 1996. During her retirement years, she continued her lifelong dedication to the caring and compassion of others and was a volunteer at the Passage Funeral Co-operative in Shediac Bridge.
Délia leaves to mourn her sister, Elise (late George) White of Somerville, MA; her brother, Edouard (late Winnie) Arsenault of Cocagne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Eva, Arthur, Rita (late Gerard), and Emile (late Anita).
The family would like to thank the staff of the Ti Bon Soin for the great professional care they provided.
In respect to the family wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service at La Visitation de Grande-Digue RC Parish Cemetery will be held in the spring.
