Bouctouche, NB – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Della Caissie, 80, of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026.
Born in Abraham-Village, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Antonin and the late Angeline (Arsenault) Arsenault.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Bernard Caissie; by her sons: Kevin Caissie (Sherry) of Oshawa, ON and Ronald Caissie of Bouctouche; by her sisters: Eda Sampson (late Vern) of Louisdale, NS, Tida Fraser (late John) of Barrie, ON and Marielle Gallant (André) of Abraham-Village, PEI, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers: Gerard, Aubert and Abel.
Special thank-you to all the staff of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste for the excellent care given to Della.
There will be no visitation and funeral service, a private burial will be held at St-Jean-Baptiste Parish Cemetery in Bouctouche, at a later date.
