Saint-Paul-de-Kent, NB – It is with great sadness and with heavy hearts that we announce the accidental passing of Denis Breau, 58, of Saint-Paul-de-Kent, on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
Born in Saint-Paul, NB, he was the son of Edouard and Rosita Breau (born Bastarache).
Denis always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say – and he loved to laugh! He was always willing to lend a hand if anyone ever needed help. He could build or fix just about anything, and enjoyed working on his cars, tractors, and equipment with his friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, and was happiest when he was hunting, going for drives in his ’62 Pontiac Parisienne, or spending time with the love of his life, Dorine.
Denis loved hockey – and was a life-long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. One his favorite pastimes was teasing his step-grandchildren about their misguided love of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Denis was extremely proud to have walked his step-daughter Shelley down the aisle at her wedding in 2016 – and Shelley was so honored to have him be such an important part of her special day.
Besides his parents, Denis will be sadly missed by his common-law partner of 30 years, Dorine Wood of Saint-Paul-de-Kent; his step-children, Shelley (Les) and Danny; his step-grandchildren, Shaelyn, Michael, Ky, Jack and Chas; his siblings, Azor (Joanne), Laurent (Gale) and Marc; as well as by several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Golden Age Club / Club d’Âge d’Or, "Multifunctional Centre" (Route 515 in Saint-Paul-De-Kent), on Saturday, May 25th from 1 to 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the National Kids Cancer Ride http://shelleywood.nationalkidscancerride.com/ or to a charity or your choice.
The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.
