Denise LeBlanc, 49 of Moncton and formerly of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday June 15th, 2011 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Bouctouche on December 20th, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Ovila A. LeBlanc and Elodie (Mallet) LeBlanc of Bouctouche.
She will be sadly missed by her common-law husband Lenny Martin, her mother, and her three siblings, Maria Nowlan (Gerald) and Jean-Paul (Claudette) of Sainte-Anne de Kent and Jimmy McDonald (Carlene) of Saint-Antoine. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
She was predeceased by one sister in infancy.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Sunday June 19th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be at the Sainte-Anne de Kent church on Monday June 20th, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Denise’s memory donations can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Oncology).
