Moncton, NB– It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana Robichaud, 84, on May 3rd, 2026, at Albert House in Moncton, NB.
Diana was born in Notre-Dame, NB on May 22nd, 1941.
She will be greatly missed by her caring partner, Ed Chiasson; her two sons: Larry Robichaud (Susan) and David Robichaud (Doralynne) both of Moncton; her daughters: Carol Robichaud (Steven) of Moncton, Karen Girouard (Paul) of Dieppe and Sharon Leger (Tom) of Moncton; she will be deeply missed by her only grandson, who meant the world to her, Matthieu Robichaud; as well as sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Diana was predeceased by her loving husband, Desire Robichaud; as well as her son, Micheal Robichaud (Pauline).
Diana worked for many years at the Moncton Hospital, making many lifelong friends, always lending a helping hand and a compassionate ear to anyone in need.
After her retirement she enjoyed summers at her trailer, spending time on the beach with family and friends. A proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, she volunteered and played shuffleboard as well as loving to dance the night away. She also spent time, especially with her daughters, crafting and painting. She had a joyous soul and always found the fun in any circumstance, always ready with a tease and warm laugh.
In keeping with Diana’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the medical team who supported her over the years and would like to extend a special thank you to the Albert House Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Dave,
I’m so sorry to read about your mom’s passing. She was a wonderful lady. First, she was my neighbour and your sisters babysat for me. Then you & Mike became my best friends ~ we had the best times. Your mom and I worked together at the hospital. She was so friendly, supportive, and always had a kind word and a smile. She absolutely loved her family.
I hope that your happy memories will bring you comfort in the days of adjustment ahead.
Love and prayers,
Linda & Stephen (Roach)

Oh my gosh I just found out that Diane had died. Never knew her at the hospital but we became neighbors on Carson 11 years ago. Then she moved to Emma. Only saw her occasionally. Had met Ed in the grocery store and knew her health was then an issue. M sympathy to Ed and her children and grandson.
