Born in Saint-André, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Suzanne (Bourque) Richard.
Dina will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Freda Bay (Bill) of Charlottetown, PEI, Linda Comeau (Armand) of Brossard, QC; her seven sons, Yvon (Denise) of Moncton, NB, Clorice (Mary) Brampton, ON, Emile (Annette) of Shediac, NB, Calixte (Bertha) of Cormier Village, NB, Arthur (Monique) of Pointe-du-Chêne, NB, Louis (Sharon) of Calgary, AB and Jean (Norma) of Grimshaw, AB; her sister, Thérèse LeBlanc (Octave) of Cormier Village, NB; her sixteen grandchildren, Michel Melanson (Allison Palmer), Gisèle Burgess (Scott), Monique Baxter (Lee), Joanne Melanson, Carrie Foster, Katie Melanson (Craig), Dinah Melanson, Marc Melanson (Sandra Arsenault), Sylvie Melanson (John Chambers), Pierre Melanson (Monique), Nicole Melanson (Richard Bell), Vickie Melanson (Dan LaFleur), Christopher Melanson (Jessica), Robert Bay (Ellen), Daniel Bay (Gabrielle Major), and Luc Comeau (Calley Gray); several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Napoléon (1995), Dina was predeceased by her step-mother, Anna Richard (Landry) and by two brothers, Yvon Richard and Clarence Richard.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, May 24th, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, there will be no visitation at the funeral home on Saturday morning.
Funeral mass will be held at the Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Haute-Aboujagane, NB on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at 11:00am, burial will take place at the parish cemetery.
Donation to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
