In Loving Memory Of
Dolores Marie Melanson (Leblanc)
1929 ~ 2023

Our Mom passed away at age 93 on Friday, October 27th, 2023, at the Moncton Albert House Hospice formerly of Moncton Residence & Dieppe.

Born in Lakeburn, she was the daughter of the late Francois Leblanc and Marie LeBlanc (Landry).

Dolores was a Mom above all and always enjoyed having her family by her side. Her house was always kept methodically clean and her meals were done with Love. We were spoiled with her delicious cooking and desserts. She was very affectionate and made you feel special. She will be greatly missed. Mom placed her religious values and her family life above all things.

She is survived by her sons: John of Winnipeg, Luc (Anne) of Dieppe; and her daughter, Anne-Marie (Fernand) Leblanc of Moncton; three sisters: Bertha (late Eric) Leblanc, Pauline (late Francis) Belliveau, Yolande (Donald) Melanson; and one brother, Alfred (Jeannine) Leblanc; her 4 grandchildren: Alex Leblanc, Jenny Leblanc, Natalie Melanson, and Caroline Melanson; 4 great grandchildren: Annabelle, Geneviève, Adyn, and Quinn; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Melanson (2015); her son, Guy Melanson (2021); her brother, Gérard Leblanc; four sisters: Hectorine Gautreau, Viola Noel, Aline Bourque, and Flora Bastarache.

Dolores truly enjoyed her time living at the Residence Moncton, it was her home for almost 9 yrs. The family want to express our sincere thank you to the wonderful staff, friends, and other residents, who was her extended family and made her feel special. Thank you to the staff, nurses, and doctors at the Moncton Hospital, who took excellent care of her. Thank you also to the staff, nurses, cooks and volunteers at the Moncton Albert House Hospice who treated our mom with dignity and compassion.

Visitations will be held at the Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Saint-Anselme RC church (1014 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Friday November 3rd, 2023 at 11:00am, followed by the interment at Saint-Anselme parish cemetery.

On se revoit bientôt!
