Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Allain, 82, on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB.
Born in Edmundston, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and the late Emma (Poirier) Allain.
Prior to his retirement, Donald was a painter by trade.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Arseneault (Charles Strang) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; by his sons: Daniel “Danny” Allain (Linda) of Dieppe and Leo Allain (Linda) of Bouctouche; by his grandchildren: Manon, Julien, Mélanie, Martine, Mireille, Josée, Adam and Jonathan; by his great grandchildren: Élodie, Danik and Lexa; by his sisters: Geneva Maillet (Henri) and Annette Richard (Rheal), both of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; by his brothers: Bertin Allain (Thérèse) of Richibucto-Village and Normand Allain (Gloria) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rose-Mai (Cormier) Allain; by his sisters: Nancy and Gloria and by his brothers: Guy and Noël.
Visitation will be held from Ste-Anne RC Church, Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, on Monday, October 28th, 2024, from 1 pm to 3:45 pm, followed by the funeral in the church at 4 pm.
Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
In Donald’s memory, a donation can be made to a memorial of choice.
