Donald McLaughlin, 59, of Faubourg du Mascaret-Pavillon Richard, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at his residence.

Born in Grand Falls, NB, he was the son of the late Howard and the late Phyllis (McQuade) McLaughlin.

Mr. McLaughlin had worked at CN, he was a member of Sainte-Therese parish, I.B.E.W. union and a former member of the Mason Lodge in Grand Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Paula (Pelletier); two daughters: Tracy (Michael) Cyr of Fredericton and Erica (Joseph) Boates of Fort Benning, GA; three sisters: Kathleen (Jack) Davis and Patsy Guest, both of Grand Falls and Brenda McLaughlin of Fredericton; five brothers: Robert (Joan) of Woodstock, Gene (Aline) of Plaster Rock, James of Grand Falls, Aubrey (Bernadette) of Moncton and Danny (Nicole) of Grand Falls; three grandchildren: Olivia, Nicholas and Emily, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 1 pm until time of service.

A Celebration of the Word will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, Dieppe, on Friday, January 18th, 2019 at 3 pm.

Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.


À sa résidence, le samedi 12 janvier 2019 à l’âge de 59 ans, est décédé, Donald McLaughlin. Il demeurait au Faubourg du Mascaret – Pavillon Richard à Moncton au Nouveau  Brunswick.

Né à Grand-Sault, N.-B., il était fils de feu Howard et de feu Phyllis (McQuade) McLaughlin.

 M. McLaughlin a travaillé au CN; Il était membre de la paroisse Sainte-Thérèse, du syndicat I.B.E.W. et autrefois membre du « Mason Lodge » de Grand-Sault

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Paula (Pelletier); deux filles: Tracy (Michael) Cyr de Fredericton et Erica (Joseph) Boates de Fort Benning, GA; trois soeurs: Kathleen (Jack) Davis et Patsy Guest, toutes deux de Grand-Sault et Brenda McLaughlin de Fredericton; cing frères: Robert (Joan) de Woodstock, Gene (Aline) de Plaster Rock, James de Grand-Sault, Aubrey (Bernadette) de Moncton et Danny (Nicole) de Grand-Sault; trois petits-enfants: Olivia, Nicholas et Emily, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901) le vendredi de 13h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.

Les funérailles auront lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le vendredi 18 janvier 2019 à 15h.

L’inhumation se fera au colombaire de la Maison funéraire Chartersville à Dieppe.
Un don à la Société Alzheimer serait apprécié par la famille.
