Born in Rexton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alexandrina (Scott) Woods.
Sheila was the very expression of a strong woman. Her path was not always an easy one, particularly later in life, but she never quit. Her life was a story of love. Meeting Bub (Alex) at a mere 12 years old, she captured his heart and he adored hers. By the tender age of 13 Sheila accepted Bub’s proposal and they counted the days until they could be married! The love they shared was inspiring!
Sheila will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 55 years, Alexander Lawrence Millard Greening (Bub); her children: Timothy Lawrence Greening of Fort Saint John, BC, Todd Allen Greening of Moncton, NB and Tara Dawn Steeves (Brent) of Lower Coverdale, NB. Her many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers: Terry Woods (Jean) of Moncton and Art Woods of Fredericton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Public visitation will be held at Passage Chapel, Moncton (625 Mountain Road), on Tuesday June 8th from 6-7 pm with a maximum of 40 people at a time.
A private funeral service will be held with family and friends.
