Dora Babineau, 91 of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Gould St., Dieppe, passed away on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 at her residence. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Ozithe (née: Robichaud) Doiron.
She devoted many hours as a homecare provider for the elderly and was a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse R.C.C.
She is survived by five daughters: Andréa (Eugene) Robichaud of Richibucto, Yvonne (Clarence) Cormier and Thérèse Babineau, both of Dieppe, Eveline (Leonard) Goguen of Cocagne and Maria (Albert) LeBlanc of Moncton; one sister, Maria Doiron of Dieppe; one brother, Gerry (late Zelma) Doiron of Dieppe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aquila in 2000; four sons: Joseph, Gerard, Yvon and Armand; three sisters: Mina, Alfreda and Marguerite and also by three brothers: Louis, Thaddée and Jake.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday, June 5th , 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, June 6th, 2007 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology” would be appreciated by the family.
