– Dora Léger, 85, passed away peacefully at Villa Maria in St-Louis-de-Kent, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, after a lengthy illness.Born in Acadieville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Michel and Lévina Daigle.
Dora will be sadly missed by her husband, Aurèle; her daughter, Monique Cormier (Robert) of Scoudouc; her son, Rosario (Murielle Hébert) of Bouctouche; her three brothers, Livain of Montreal, Gérard (Géraldine) of St-Ignace and Nazaire of Gardner, Mass; her sister, Noëlla Barrieau of Acadieville; her granddaughter, Josianne Cormier; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Alcide, Calixte and André; her sister, Zélica.
Visitations will be at St-Antoine-de-Padoue slumber room in Richibucto-Village, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and (nothing on Monday February 13, 2017) on Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 2:00pm until time of funeral service at St-Antoine-de-Padoue RC Church at 4:00pm
Donations to the Alzheimer Society, Villa Maria or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
