Born in Acadieville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Richard and the late Eveline (Thébeau) Richard.
She is survived by two daughters: Chantal Laporte (Jeremy), Abbotsford, BC and Tania George, Lachine, QC; 7 grandchildren: Ada, Sadie, Brittanie, Maurice, Shawna, Jessika and Anabelle; 2 great grandchildren: Lilly and Ella; four sisters: Exilda Cormier (Alfred), Bouctouche, Annette Poirier (Réal), Chambly, QC, Anne-Marie Richard (Gilbert), Dieppe and Angèle Pollock (Bruce), Ottawa, ON; three brothers: Emile (Lydia), Saint-Hubert, QC, Jean-Paul (Claira), Lakeville and Eloi, Bouctouche; four foster sisters: Diane Duplessis, Sandra Richard, Claudette Richard et Hélène Hachey; the father of her daughters, Percy George, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents; she was predeceased by two brothers: Sylvain and Paul.
Due to the current pandemic, funeral mass will be held in Acadieville at a later date.
