Doreen LeBlanc, 88, of Faubourg du Mascaret “Pavillon Richard”, Moncton, was “promoted to Glory” on Friday, September 27th, 2019.
Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Dinah (née: Arsenault) Happeney.
She is survived by five daughters: Anne Marie (Normand) Landry of Moncton, Jeannine (André) Michaud of Dieppe, Pauline (Barry) Breiter of Winnipeg, MB, Denise LeBlanc of Moncton and Susan (Gerry) Cormier of Dieppe; two sons: Paul (Darlene) and John (Kim), both of Moncton; two sisters: Mary Happeney and Lorraine (Robert) Rathje, both of Saint John; two brothers: Michael Happeney of Vancouver, BC and Gregory Happeney of Saint John;13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John in 2010; one sister, Connie; one brother, John and also by two grandsons: Serge and Stephane.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at 11 am, with Father Angus Johnston officiating.
Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to Make a Wish Foundation, Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Née à Saint Jean, N.-B., elle était fille de feu John et de feu Dinah (née Arsenault) Happeney.
Elle laisse dans le deuil cinq filles: Anne Marie (Normand) Landry de Moncton, Jeannine (André) Michaud de Dieppe, Pauline (Barry) Breiter de Winnipeg, MB, Denise LeBlanc de Moncton et Susan (Gerry) Cormier de Dieppe; deux fils: Paul (Darlene) et John (Kim), tous deux de Moncton; deux soeurs: Mary Happeney et Lorraine (Robert) Rathje, toutes deux de Saint Jean; deux frères: Michael Happeney de Vancouver, CB et Gregory Happeney de Saint Jean;13 petits-enfants; 8 arrière-petits-enfants, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son époux, John en 2010; une soeur, Connie; un frère, John; ainsi que deux petits-fils: Serge et Stephane l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le luindi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu en l’église Saint-Augustin à Moncton, le mardi 1 octobre 2019, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au colombaire de la Maison funéraire Chartersville à Dieppe.
Un don à Make a Wish Foundation, Amis de l’Hôpital de Moncton ou à une œuvre de bienfaisance de choix serait appréciée par la famille.
